Julia Parker Post has always been interested in art. She majored in art at the University of Alabama, the Memphis Academy of Art and then receieved a degree from the art school at the University of Hartford. At Central Connecticut State University she received a Masters and a sixth year degree which was required for her twenty five years of teaching art in CT. She has traveled to many workshops in the US and abroad. Her mediums of choice include watercolor, acrylic and printmaking. She is a member of the Gallery on the Green in Canton, the Avon Arts Association and Simsbury Open Studios. Email
