All demos and workshops are at Avon Town Hall (unless otherwise noted) with a $5 suggested donation. Workshop fee: $45 for members, $55 for guests with set ups at 9:30am.
 CLASSES & OPEN STUDIOS
Karen Israel will be teaching a one day workshop in Still Life in pastel(from life) at the New Britain Art League on Nov 16th.
She will be teaching a 3 day workshop on design and composition with the Pastel Society of New Hampshire in Kittery Maine, Oct. 24-27.
Karen will also be teaching an online workshop on Fur and Feathers with the Penn Studio School of Art, Tuesdays Jan. 7 - 21, 2025, 12:30-3pm.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Avon Arts Holiday Show Nov. 1 - 30 at the Avon Public Library. Reception: Sat. Nov. 9, 2-4pm. Music by John Brighenti. Pick-Up: Sat. Nov. 30, 10am - Noon.
The Investors Center in Avon is currently looking for artists to display work for 3-6 months. 40 feet of linear hanging space will hold 10-20 pieces.

Five Points Gallery has artist submissions twice a year in March and September. The Annex is available to rent for two week periods for $300. Interested exhibitors may contact: Five Points Gallery Annex.
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary is currently seeking artists to participate in an Artist of the Month Program. Local Artists are contracted to display their works during a predetermined month in the Main Hallway. The displayed items are posted for sale with a percentage of the sales to be donated to the CHH Auxiliary to be used to enhance patient care and other programs at CHH. The Village for Families and Children are looking for artists who are interested in exhibiting 4-5 pieces of artwork for a month+ (date is flexible). Artists need to provide price labels for each piece, with a framed bio/artist statement that can be wall mounted. The exhibit space at 331 Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford is securely locked.
